Teaching

Contemporary Chemistry (CHEM 055) This course serves as an introduction to chemistry for students with little or no chemistry background.

Survey of Chemistry (CHEM 103 and CHEM 103L) This course is designed to provide health science and liberal arts students with a general overview of basic chemical concepts.

Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry (CHEM 104 and CHEM 104L) This course is designed to provide health science and liberal arts students with a general overview of organic and biochemistry concepts.

General Chemistry (CHEM 105/L - 106/L) These courses cover all the basic concepts of chemistry.

Organic Chemistry (CHEM 321 - 322 and CHEM 323L) These courses investigate the chemistry of carbon compounds and discuss physical properties, nomenclature, synthesis, reactions, mechanisms, stereochemistry, and spectroscopic identification of these compounds.
